Grab your best pal and lace up your boots, cause the two of you have some work to do. Far Cry 5, set in fictional Hope Country, Montana, will be entirely playable in co-op. In what Ubisoft are calling the “Friend-For-Hire” mode, all of the experience and items earned will be carried over each session. Players will also see their own loot, so no need to fight each-other when it comes to that shiny new bow. The only restriction seems to be that only the host player is the only one who can save their story progress. If the netcode works, I’m sure Far Cry 5 could be a really fun experience for both solo and co-op players. Far Cry 5 will be available September 27th 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
