Ubisoft Celebrates the Holiday Season with free digital PC games

Nothing says holiday fun and joy like sitting alone at your computer playing games. Thanks to Ubisoft‘s Happy Playdays, we can do just that with two fantastic free games. You will be able to tame the seas and drink some rum with Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and polish off your strategy plays in World in Conflict.

World in Conflict, originally released in 2007, is an innovative RTS/RTT game set in the cold war and was followed with an expansion titled Soviet Assault in 2009. “The game features both a strong and captivating single-player campaign and an intense multiplayer section that supports up to 16 players. With many other features, including Voice Over IP, amazing graphics and completely destructible battlefields, World in Conflict is an intense strategy experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Released to high critical acclaim, it has been called one of the best strategy games ever made.”

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag begins in 1715, when pirates established their hold over the Caribbean and ruled the land and seas. Set in an extensive world with compelling characters and an endless amount of pirate activities (SEA SHANTIES) Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag lets you live the life of the pirate Edward Kenway; Captain and customize your own ship, search for lost treasures, hunt rare animals and loot underwater shipwrecks.

World in Conflict (including the expansion Soviet Assault) will be FREE and downloadable for PC from December 4th to December 11th, and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will be available for FREE from December 11th to December 18th on PC.
