Good Shepherd Entertainment, in partnership with Lionsgate have announced John Wick Hex, a new video game directed by Mike Bithell (Thomas Was Alone, Volume, Subsurface Circular). Be prepared for a fast-paced action strategy game that has you thinking and striking like the profession hitman of the critically acclaimed franchise from Lionsgate which returns to theaters with John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum on May 17. The game is currently in development for consoles and will be available for PC and Mac exclusively on the Epic Games Store at launch.
John Wick Hex has been created with the assistance of the creative and stunt teams behind the films, and is described as “fight-choreographed chess brought to life as a video game”, capturing the gun fu style of the series while also expanding the universe. Gamers will decide each action and attack, and need to consider the cost and consequences of these. Every move will feel like it’s a scene straight out of the movies, and each fight will progress the job requiring precise strategic thinking.
By performing well and progressing through the original story you will unlock new weapons, locations and suit options. Each weapon will change the tactics and manner of play. Ammo is finite and realistic so you will need to time your reloads and make the most of the scavenged weapons.
John Wick Hex complements the style of the films with a graphic noir art design, and features voice talents with the likes of Ian McShane and Lance Reddick, and more to be announced.
