Puzzle fans have something to get excited about with Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires’ Conspiracy Deluxe Edition launching for Nintendo Switch on the 8th of November. Attendees at the Japan Expo in France will be the first in Europe to experience the game with it’s distinctive Layton aesthetics and puzzle-solving gameplay.
In Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires’ Conspiracy the famous Professor Hershel Layton has gone missing and it’s up to his daughter Katrielle to take the stage as the protagonist. She is a smart and spirited young lady with a knack for arriving at the truth, and is aided by a colourful cast of new characters. A student, Ernest Greeves, acts as her assistant while Sherl (a talking dog) is her sidekick.
This marks the first time a Layton series game is playable on TV screens, allowing puzzle-sleuths to share the joy with family and friends. The controls are simple and intuitive , with the game able to be played with the button controls of motion controls.
Overview of what’s new:
- New Puzzles: This Deluxe Edition includes more than 40 brand-new puzzles and additionally, some puzzles from the Nintendo 3DS version have been refined.
- Improved Layout and Enhanced Graphics: The key information for each puzzle is now viewable on one screen, and all graphics have received an HD overhaul.
- Unlocked DLC: Content that was previously released as paid DLC, including the “Daddy’s Girl” and “Luke Lookalike” outfits, is unlocked from the beginning.
- New Outfits: More than 50 new outfits have been added, all of which can obtained through gameplay.
