Ubisoft has announced that as of today, both Steep Winter Games Edition and the Steep Road to the Olympics expansion are available for pre-order. Come December 5th, get ready to carve up the slopes of PyeongChang.
Steep Road to the Olympics expansion features an all new story mode, following a young athlete training for the 2018 Winter Olympics. To help achieve this, 10 winter sports legends have recorded video testimonials to be integrated in-game. Ranging from bronze, silver, and gold Olympic medalists, to world champions, you’re sure to learn some new tips and tricks.
New events and locations will be added, including the slopes of both South Korea and Japan, and Alpine Skiing, Snowboard, and Freestyle Skiing events. The Steep Winter Games Edition, which includes the base game and the expansion, costs $79.95 AUD, and the Steep Road the Olympics expansion alone is $44.95 AUD, the same price as the base game. To add even further insult to injury, this expansion isn’t included in the Year 1 Season Pass. That costs a further $29.95 AUD, and is $109.95 AUD for all three together.
