Ubisoft brings a spectacular post-apocalyptic setting to Far Cry with New Dawn

At The Game Awards, Ubisoft unveiled Far Cry New Dawn, the next instalment of the Far Cry series

Far Cry New Dawn is set 17 years after the global nuclear catastrophe seen in Far Cry 5, and allows players to explore Hope Country again, this time transformed by the nuclear disaster. The survivors of this disaster face a new threat: The Twins. Mickey and Lou and their band of scavengers have descended upon Hope Country to take all the resources they can.

To fight back, players must craft makeshift weapons and vehicles and train their Guns of Hire at their Homebase, Prosperity. The Homebase can be upgraded to allow for more powerful gear and can launch expeditions, allowing you to go to locations across the US for the first time ever. The classic Far Cry CO-OP also returns, allowing for unforgettable Far Cry Moments.

Far Cry New Dawn will release on February 15 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC
